Dixon Family Favorites
We LOVE our city and nothing makes us happier than sharing it with you! Here is a special assortment of our favorite restaurants, shops & downtown activities.
Jay’s Seafood - Our family has been sitting at the bar at Jay’s for special celebrations since the days when Jay himself greeted us. If you do stop in and sit at the bar, there’s a good chance Matt or Sean will be behind the bar; tell them the Dixons sent you ;-)
Luna Gifts & Botanicals - Amazing plant selection, teas, crystals, cards, and gifts.
Dayton Bike Trails - Carli spends time most weekends on one of the many bike trails running through downtown that include a total of 350+ miles of connected, paved trails.
Roost Modern Italian - For a Dixons kind of night out, sit at the bar and order appetizers, drinks, and desserts. Or treat yourself and order the butter-poached filet.
Salt Block Biscuit Co. - Try their sweet and spicy peanut butter cookie and coffee with cream.
Trolley Stop - Catch some late-night live music in the bar where Hamilton and Carli first met!
We live, work, and play downtown, so this is just a small sampling of our favorite destinations. If you are looking for a specific recommendation, please reach out to us for suggestions!
