The Brightside has a green side too, and we love being able to provide you an urban oasis in the heart of downtown Dayton.
From our 3,600 square foot patio to our painted murals and flowerbeds, there’s always a great spot for wedding photos or just to step outside and enjoy some sunshine. Many of our couples and their photographers also explore the surrounding cityscape for photos at Second Street Market and The Cannery just a short walk away. There is always something new around every corner!
Included with the Patio & Brightside Grounds
The Patio connects to The Vod-Vil Bar for added cocktail hour space. The Ballroom’s garage door entrance also connects to the Patio to use for Grand Entrances or to access Food Trucks for dinner.

Carli was extremely thoughtful, insightful, flexible, and helpful in the process of answering all of our many questions and helping us figure out what would work best with our vision! The Brightside is unique in the way it caters to its clients and cares deeply about every detail to make sure everything is perfect! Not only that, but the venue is GORGEOUS and they are constantly making new, beautiful additions. My guests raved about how wonderful this venue was and it was truly the PERFECT wedding thanks to them! Could not recommend them more!
